Health Camp & Sanitary Hygiene Awareness at Vatsavai ZPHS,

Event Details:
* Conducted Health Check-ups for all the students of Vatsavai Z.P. High
School.
* Gynaecologists from Indo British Hospital assessed the general health of
students and prescribed vitamins for children with deficiencies and
identified children with serious health issues pertaining to dental
problems, general hygiene and eyesight problems.
* Based on the prescriptions, we distributed medicines and catered to the
health needs of approximately 500 children. We have even followed up with
prescriptions advising further diagnosis for students and helped them find
solutions for their health problems by attaching them to concerned doctors.
* Further, we have conducted an awareness and counselling session specially
for girl students about menstrual hygiene, management and waste
disposal. We have also tried to make them understand the importance of
personal hygiene along with identifying reproductive infections and other
menstrual problems and how they impact their overall health and wellbeing.
* We have also distributed sanitary pads to all adolescent girls of the school.
