Jayaprada Foundation is a charitable not-for-profit organisation that was formed to help the economically deprived by supporting them in areas such as education, employment, health, financial relief, social welfare and public benefit. This includes training of unemployed youth to enable them to earn a livelihood and support their families with skill sets acquired through our training.
We aim to create awareness, provide financial assistance along with various career opportunities and self employment opportunities to the rural population.
As part of the above initiative, we have conducted several health camps and eye camps this year in and around the villages of Lingala, Gangavelli, Pochavaram, Vatsavai, Singaram, Alluripadu, Regulagadda, Chityala in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh.
We have been able to cater to approximately 900 people by providing them free consultation, free medicines, free spectacles and ensured that those in need of eye related surgeries are operated free of cost with the help of Kiran Eye Hospitals, Kakinada and Ramesh Hospitals, Vijayawada.
We have established a Skill Development Center under the aegis of the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) in Lingala village, Vatsavai Mandal, Krishna District as part of the skill development efforts aimed at training more than 2,000 youngsters (unemployed youth, academic students, entrepreneurs, etc.) in the next 3 years and mobilise skilled humanpower across Lingala and its neighbouring villages.
